My Story
Long story short, I’m a music educator who has done a lot of writing.
I first combined these two skill sets when I was published in a 2014 issue of Music Educators Journal as the winner of the Centennial Collegiate Essay Contest. Since then, I have continued in music, teaching, and writing as a K-12 teacher, a teaching assistant for undergraduate music classes, a graduate student of ethnomusicology, and in arts administration.
